Oreva E from Ajanta at Rs 1 lac |
Clock maker Ajanta is all set to compete with Tata Nano with an electric car Oreva E set to launch in 2009.
The non AC model will be priced at Rs. 87000 while the AC version will be available at Rs. 100000 (Rupees One lac).
Ajanta Group (Morbi in Rajkot), has now launched the demo small electric car 'Oreva E' at a showroom in Rajkot.
As R & D is still on, the launch may be delayed. But with an experience of manufacturing and selling e bikes, Ajanta is confident of launching it almost inline with Nano's launch.
