It helps cover against theft, financial loss caused by accidents and any subsequent liabilities. The cover level of Car insurance can be the insured party, the insured vehicle, third parties (car and people).

The premium of the insurance is dependent on parameters like vehicle classification, cover to passengers, no claim bonus etc.

First of all, I feel honored that visitors at carsinindia.com found the content good enough to take a look at who wrote the articles.

I, Adithya have been fascinated by automobiles and automobile engineering in particular from the time my cognition officially existed. I was extremely interested in bikes and simply enjoyed myself feeling every stroke of the piston as it occurred. I loved the free-spirit attitude that bikes like the Enfield Bullet skillfully honed for themselves, but was particularly in favor of the 'road rage ahoy' that bikes like the Bajaj Pulsar (especially the 180) and the RD 350 endorsed.

Later, I had a rather big crash in a friends' bike and then on, the idea of getting a bike for me was just thrown out of the window. I got a car for myself instead. Until that time in my life, I barely knew which pedal was clutch and which brake was. I learnt how to drive in my very first try at it. The rest as they say is history.

Today, I enjoy myself driving cars on the road and being able to do what has remained my dream job for a very long time. Honestly, I never thought that one day I would be able to write articles that could potentially reach a far bigger audience than many auto magazines worldwide could only dream of.

Right now, I'm in my final year of mechanical engineering and I hope to soon leave for germany to do my masters in mechatronics, perhaps get employed by BMW, or maybe Autocar who knows..

This site is the brainchild of Mr.Anand of worlditlab.com. He put forth the idea of floating a website that is able to do a comprehensive overview of each and every car being sold here in India. He was looking for a 'Car Nut' who would be able to have a look at cars and rate them accordingly. As a pre-final year mechanical engineering student who was crazy about driving and giving outwardly comments on cars, I happened to fit the bill.

The road map for carsinindia.com at is to become the last word in buying any Indian car. I hope for your continued cooperation in this regard.
