New Maruti Suzuki Wagon R |
The car has gone under the scanner once again and the maruti engineers seem to have done once again what they keep doing to all their car. Add chrome, stylish shift lever, play around with the headlamps and sometimes the interiors too! Maruti never seem to quite make the necessary impact when it comes to redesigning a car. Case in point being the old zen; they did quite a bit to it but nothing that found fancy with the buyers. The Wagon R now gets
- Headlamps that incorporate the indicators which aren't clearlens anymore on top of the headlamp.
- A new bumper that has much bigger looking air-dams and a new radiator grille
- The bonnet which now has a slightly deeper set to the new headlamps
- New interiors which include a new shift knob from the new style zen and seats that are no longer four seater and also loses the split folding, full beds that were found on the old Wagon R.
- Optional beige interiors available on the top end model
- Chrome strip around the new circular Air-conditioner controls and the steering wheel found on the Suzuki swift.
- New shape head-rests at the rear which resemble the ones found on the ford fiesta.
- Option of a Gas convertor from the manufacturer; making this the second car with the gas conversion option available from the manufacturer.
- New High-mounted stop lamp incorporated outside, rather than inside the cabin.
- New style tail lamps which are quite similar to the ones found on the Versa.
- New rear bumper
- Rear boot mounted number plate.
We promise to feature a complete review to see if there are any significant changes made to the engine along with a feature review on the LPG Duo version of the new Wagon R, in the mean while more info about all the details about the outgoing model may be found here |
